Our boxes arrived yesterday, hurrah. Unopened, barely touched, as usual my fretting and fuming during the dispatch period was for nothing. Anyhow, we spent all of Monday first unpacking and then repacking our belongings, discarding things along the way where possible. One box which had been left here in London had contained a camel hair rug bought in Egypt. This turned out to be infested with clothes moths. I have never seen so many. We had to open it out doors, throw many of the contents away and put the rest in the freezer or in boiling water. It is all quite stressful for the Gentleman Friend as he leaves London for an earlier start on our travels tomorrow, while I have a couple of weeks still. But at least things are moving.
